Songs recorded in rooms
Each song is treated as a work rather than a product, a document of a place at an hour, with its walls left audible.

I
Vigil
2025 · 5:12 · Voice, upright piano, room
Recorded in one take at dusk, with the window open. The city is audible in the second verse and was kept.
I left the light on in the hallway / so the house would know I meant to return.
II
Stone Chapel
2025 · 4:03 · Voice, harmonium, field recording
Built from a recording of rain against a chapel door in Galicia. The harmonium was tuned to the door.
Every road becomes a corridor / if you walk it long enough.
III
Almería
2024 · 6:40 · Voice, strings, tape
The companion piece to the painting of the same journey. Written before the canvas, finished long after.
The heat kept the door shut / and I stood there anyway.
IV
Blue Hour
2026 · 3:47 · Unreleased
Forthcoming. A single sustained chord and a text about a colour that will not sit still.

Films, journal and performances
Films
Single-take films made alongside the recordings, a window, a wall, a hand on the keys. Screened occasionally, never streamed.
Studio journal
Notes kept during recording: weather, tunings, false starts, the hour the light left the room. Published in fragments within Interior Castle.
Performances
Performed in chapels, courtyards and unlit galleries, for small numbers of people, usually at dusk. Dates announced by letter.
Forthcoming
Blue Hour, a record of four songs and one sustained chord, arriving when it is finished.
